By making a booking via www.puravidacentralcoast.com you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions

Bookings and Fees

 

Your booking will be confirmed by us within 24 hours of your online booking enquiry. Submitting an online booking enquiry does not guarantee we have availability or are able to accommodate your group. When we confirm your booking a 50% deposit is required within 48hrs. Bookings within 30 days of arrival require full prepayment. For all other bookings, the balance of the booking fee is due:

  • 30 days prior to the arrival date. 

  • Or by 1st December for December / January bookings.

 

Our preferred method of payment is electronic funds transfer (EFT). Please note all credit card payments will incur a 2.9% surcharge. 

Our nightly rate is subject to change without notice,

In all communications, the description of the rental premises is made in good faith. This website and our Airbnb profile constitute an accurate description of the home.

Security Bond

 

A security bond of $1000 is required for every booking paid no less that 14 days prior to the commencement of the stay.

The bond is payable by electronic funds transfer and will be held until the conclusion of the stay and used for any damages, excess cleaning, excess rubbish or breaches of house rules. If there are no damages or excess cleaning the security bond will be returned ASAP after checkout (usually 48 hours). We have never withheld a security bond as all our guests are super stars!

 

We ask all guests to report any damages or breakages as soon as possible.  Photos are encouraged to support the reporting process.

Terminating agreement

 

Under certain circumstances, we reserve the right to terminate the holiday rental and request that the guests vacate the premises immediately without any refund in the following circumstances but not limited to:

  • Causing malicious or deliberate damage to the rental property or untidy conduct.

  • Being or causing a public nuisance, excessive noise or any undesirable behaviour.

  • Accommodation of more persons than is stated in your booking.

  • Holding of private functions or large group gatherings.

  • Ignoring warnings and /or request from the house manager.

  • Continued breach of any rules set out herein.

Pura Vida Central Coast has a strict No Events, No Parties, No Bucks, No Hens, No Schoolies Policy.  If the holiday home is found to be occupied by a group of guests engaging in the above activities, we reserve the right to terminate the holiday rental and request that the tenants vacate the premises immediately without any refund. 

Check out procedure

Pura Vida Central Coast is thoroughly inspected before each booking. Pura Vida is to be vacated in a clean and tidy state.  A list of cleaning duties and bin/rubbish collection information can be found in the Pura Vida House Manual. Cleaning products and equipment are supplied at the property. 

No furniture or effects are to be removed from the property. Please ensure that on vacating the property furniture and effects are returned to the same position as at the commencement of the rental.

 

Left/Forgotten personal belongings.

 

In the case of personal items being left at the property after vacating, we will endeavour to retrieve the items and return them by Australia Post. We take no responsibility for personal belongings being located or returned.

 

Privacy Policy

Pura Vida Central Coast respects the privacy of our clients and any information collected will not be given or sold to any third party.

 

Personal details and information collected by us will only used for accommodation bookings and the marketing of return stays in which you may be interested.

 

You can contact us at any time if you no longer wish to no longer receive marketing communications.

What is provided?
  • All Linen & ​Bedding for the number of included guests.

  • One bath towel per guest plus hand towels, bathmats, tea towels. 

  • Shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

  • Tea / Coffee / Sugar supplies

  • Pantry staples; oil, salt, pepper, sauce, rice, flour.

House Rules

Check-in: After 3:00 pm

Checkout: By 10:00 am

Minimum 3 night stay

(Minimum 7 nights in school holidays)

🚫 smoking 🚫 pets 🚫 parties or events

🚫 loud music after 10pm

🚫 swimming in the pool after 10pm 

 

Please note internal stairs are not gated, but it is possible to close access to the stairway from downstairs, hence still suitable for children under 2yrs.

Cancellation Policy

We realise that circumstances can change and that from time to time bookings may need to be changed or cancelled.

 

All monies paid are non-refundable unless the property can be re booked for the same rental period. Then the booking fee will be refunded will be refund minus a $500.00 cancellation and administration fee. If your booking was a non-Peak time, the option to transfer your booking to another date may be offered.

 

Bookings are made in 'good faith' but may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control. Pura Vida Central Coast does not accept responsibility where such circumstance arise.  Every reasonable endeavour will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.

 

Please note: We have never cancelled a booking on a guest.

Covid-19

We are all in this together!

If official state or federal government travel restrictions prevent you from travelling we will refund your booking in full.

If there are no official restrictions I think that normal cancellation fees would apply. If you were to cancel (as early as possible) due to other personal reasons and we can re book the dates then we would process a full refund minus the cancellation fee. I have it listed as $500 however this is primarily to cover people who pay by credit card as we cannot refund the fees already charged to us and a small amount of administration.

We also accept payment by Credit Card (MasterCard and Visa). Please note: payment by Credit Card is subject to a 2.9% surcharge.

STR Code of Conduct

On 18th December 2020, the NSW Department of Fair Trading's new Code of Conduct became law. The code creates new minimum standards of behaviour and new requirements for all participants including booking platforms, hosts and guests. The new laws require hosts to provide all guests with a copy of the Code of Conduct.
